Anne Chloe Devic

CEO / Founder

Anne-Chloe Devic holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Polymers from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie, Montpellier, France. She is the CEO and founder of SSbD Consulting Europe SL, established in 2023, which supports companies and research organizations in adopting the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) approach.

Anne-Chloe’s distinguished career includes her tenure as Senior Innovation Manager at the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) from 2016 to 2022. There, she spearheaded innovation policies, secured funding opportunities, and coordinated 17 SusChem National Technology Platforms. Her extensive industrial experience spans leading roles at ICI, Huntsman, and Repsol, specializing in R&D management and materials innovation.

She began her career as a research engineer at ICI, contributing to advancements in acrylic composites and scaling up surfactants, PMMA, and polyurethane processes. Her journey includes impactful contributions to materials innovation at Repsol and innovation leadership at Cefic, shaping strategies to meet the needs of a sustainable future.

Alexander is a chemical engineer with a master of science degree in macro molecular materials from the royal institute of technology (KTH) in Stockholm. He's a project manager for SSbD Consulting Europe SL supporting the implementation of the SSbD concept in the chemical industry and it's partnered value chains. Alexander started his career at Stockholm Water and Waste as a laboratory engineer in 2022 where he performed quality analysis of waste water leading out to the baltic sea
